Card of the Day #9

I used a couple of the Sparkle and Shine dimensionals for something different. Also the coordinating sparkle shapes and a few bitty sparkles. You can never have too much sparkle at Christmastime!

Card of the Day #8

Frosted paper. The snowflakes are punched with a punch from Martha Stewart, (I think).

Frosted Layout

This was our latest layout for Club. We used Frosted paper, lots of Champagne ink to sponge everything and the Artbooking Cricut cartridge for the snowflakes and title. Additional snowflakes were stamped with Champagne using the Sparkle and Shine WOTG and the Frosted WOTG stamps. We loved using the M-sized snowflake as well.

Card of the Day #6 and #7

Sorry I about not posting yesterday. It didn't occur to me until midnight that I hadn't done it and by then it was already today! So now you get two. Enjoy!

Both of these cards use Frosted paper. Add a little sparkle and bling and viola! You've got a card!

Artbooking Made Easy: Wintertime Layouts (S01E14)

Card of the Day #4

I wanted to do something a little different today. No Sparkle and Shine paper. Just some "Surf's Up" for the ornaments on New England Ivy. The zip strip is a remnant from last year's Pear and Partridge.

Card of the Day

I decided that since I seem to be unable to stop making Christmas cards I'll share my "sickness" with you! I'm going to try to post a different card each day, so keep checking in.

This one turned out to be my favorite. I LOVE this paper! So pretty! Sparkle and Shine all the way, baby!

Holiday Guide Blog Hop

You may have arrived here from Amy's http://amyraimy.blogspot.com/ blog. Welcome!
This is a card I created using the Sparkle and Shine paper on Juniper cardstock. I embellished with Gray Washi tape and a few leftover scraps of paper. It was very simple and easy. The sentiment comes from Casual Expressions D1525. To continue in the Blog hop to Cheryl's blog click this link http://creationswithstyle.blogspot.com/

Leftover card

I made this card using some scraps I had leftover after cutting everything out for the card workshop I ran a few weeks ago. I'm now out of red shimmer trim ribbon and the little red sparkles! I'll have to get creative to finish my Christmas cards. :)

Artbooking layout

To make this layout I used the Sparkle and Shine paper and embellishments for the Holiday Gift Guide. I love this particular button on the Artbooking cartridge! I took the "negative" ornaments for the 2nd page and covered them in red and silver shimmer trim ribbon. The little gray and red circles are from the Workshop on the Go embellishments. Of course, there's a little bit of Glitz Glitter gel and sparkles on the 1st page too!

Snow!

This truly is a "Quick Card." I used a snowflake from the "Wintry Wishes" hostess stamp set and the main "Bright All Night" hostess set. I even used leftover cardstock. Feels good!

Golden Ornaments

I made this card with Twilight cardstock and Surf's Up for the gold. The ornaments are cut on Artbooking. I accented everything with Bronze Glitz Glitter Gel and some craft store gold cord on the punched ornament.

Team Mtg Layout

Amy Raimy gave us the pieces and the proposed layout for the above. This is my interpretation using the Sparkle and Shine paper packet and the stamp set from the WOTG. Of course, I added some bling, as well as the sparkle trim ribbon. The banner is cut with the Cricut Artbooking cartridge.

CLub ProPlayer layout

This is the layout the ladies made at Club the other night. I cut out the honeycomb patterns with the Cricut Artbooking cartridge. The stamp set is, of course, Honeycomb. ;) We used Ruby, Pacifica, Outdoor Denim, and Whisper on the honeycombs.

Welcome to the Team Blog Hop. Whether you're starting here or you came from Gretchen's blog you'll find some great ideas using items in the CTMH holiday catalog. Enjoy hopping from one blog to the next!

On these cards I used the Sparkle Holiday Shapes (Z1910) on the coordinating Trim the Tree (A1149) stamps. The ornament and tree shapes were cut out using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. All the B&T paper is from the Sparkle and Shine paper packet. (X7176B)

Huntington layout

This layout was made with Huntington paper for our last Club get together. We had fun with the "rock and roll" technique to stamp our flowers. The bronze shimmer trim and rosewood accents go perfectly with this paper.

Laughing Lola Layout

This layout was one we did in Club. We used Laughing Lola paper and lots of bling! The paisley designs were cut out on the Cricut Artiste cartridge. We found the Versa Mat a VERY helpful tool for centering our stamping. The layout design is from Make it From Your Heart Volume 1.

Red cards

These cards were made using the new Sparkle and Shine paper. This is the same B&T used two ways. I even did the same "reverse" on the stamped flower, which is part of the gift bag set in the Holiday catalog.

Stamp of the Month

These cards were all made using the October Stamp of the Month.
Is there such a thing as too much sparkle?

Thanks!

This is the card I made for the Stamp Camp Swap. Amy Raimy was kind enough to post it for me.

Stamp Camp

I was privileged to get to go to Stamp Camp this past Saturday. This was something open to Close to My Heart Consultants that are under the direction of Linda Taylor. I am associated with Linda through my direct upline, Amy Raimy. This was a full day of fun! We made a TON of items that I am now picturing on my blog. If any of them interest you as a possible workshop please let me know and we can make them together. Or if you like the idea but want to use a different paper that is a possibility too. Enjoy!

Laughing Lola Layouts

These Laughing Lola Layouts are actually 2 of 3. These were the last things we did at Stamp Camp and I ran out of steam. :) I went my own direction with the second layout so it looks different than the design Linda gave us from Make It From Your Heart Volume 2. We used the Irresistibles Hexagons and Square Durables Studs, along with bling cut on the Cricut from the Black and Grey Glitter Paper.

Huntington Cards

All of these cards were made using Huntington paper. We used 3 designs to make 6 cards. I left the "Thank You" sentiment off most of them in case I want to use them for another occasion. Linda Taylor showed us that the 6x6 Flip Flaps make an adorable card holder envelope. The flap decorative flap was cut on the Cricut and attached using the adhesive already on the Flip Flap. We added Hexagon Irresistibles with Desert Sand Ink and Square Durables Studs to each card.
