Blossom Layout

Our Club used the beautiful Blossom paper for this month's layout. I was inspired by the Picture My Life look when I designed this layout. The one little green, leafy card is cut on Circut Artfully Sent. We stamped Shower Flowers in Smoothie, Sunset, Pear, Glacier and Lagoon. The embellishments were either glimmer trim or glitter paper. We also added Coral Reef Sequins and some sparkles here and there. The one glacier rectangle is made to look like plaid with the thin Boardwalk and Carnival Washi Tape. We also ran one Lagoon rectangle through the Cuddlebug for some dimension.

Chalk it Up

This is the layout we made at Club on Monday. We used Chalk it Up paper. I tried to design something that was versatile so that we weren't tied into a school theme. We colored both the White Enamel stars and the White Glimmer trim with the Shin Han markers. Our stamping was done with the Chalk it Up Workshop on the Go set, and a few sets no longer available, in Sorbet, Lagoon and Flaxen. All our shapes were cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.

London

Here's a bit more of my Europe Album. I am having fun using new and old CTMH paper as well as some craft store finds. I also add stickers wherever I can as well as other embellishments.

Europe

I just realized it's been awhile since I've posted. I've been busy working on a project. My best friend and I traveled around Europe during the summer of 1996, which was before I started to scrapbook. I was looking through the album and suddenly wanted these pictures better displayed. I am halfway (and one album) through our 6 country tour. Here is a small sampling of what I've done....

New Paper!

There is a new Seasonal Expressions Catalog coming! You can begin to order from it April 1st. If you don't yet have a copy and would like one please let me know. I'd love to share all the wonderful new products with you! Below is a layout I created using the new Jackson paper and Workshop On the Go stamp set. I also included a few of the new accessories. You can probably tell why this one was an instant favorite of mine. =)

St. Patrick's Day

In honor of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow I bring you a layout from 12 years ago and my trip to Ireland. It's fun to see how my scrapbooking style has changed and grown over the years.

Heartstrings Layout

Our Club layout for the month of March used the beautiful (and versatile) Heartstrings paper available in the Seasonal Expressions catalog. The title is done with Framework alphabet and colored with Shin Han markers in shades of Peacock Green and Turquoise Blue. The floral stamping is an older set called Love Blooms. It looked like the same rose design so I couldn't resist adding a bit of my own in Hollyhock Ink.

For embellishments I used Junebug and Stuck On You Puffies, the My Crush In the Pink Sticky Tabs and In the Pink Clips. We also colored our own sparkles using the Shin Han markers. We further embellished with the Heart Embossing Folder, sanded to bring out the hearts.

HOPSCOTCH Again

This was our Girls' Club layout. We used a previous Stamp of the Month set to do the word bubbles in the middle of the left-hand page. I also got out some old buttons, Baker's twine and Waxy flax.

Happy Birthday Jaima

This is the card I made for my niece's 14th birthday. She loves the outdoors, animals and nature so this Artfully Sent card seemed suited for her. I used Pathfinding paper and cut it out twice so I could use the same side of paper as I folded the card.

Roses

This is the birthday card I made for my best friend using the Artfully Sent cartridge and Stella scrapbook paper. Have I mentioned how much I love this cartridge?!

Love Bug

Here's a card I made as a Valentine. Artfully Sent really makes it sooo easy. With lots of options! The hard part is choosing the paper. ;-) This is Scaredy Cat, Sunset and Whisper (I think. Sometimes I get my grays mixed up) The hearts were cut out on Art Philosophy. I added a bit of Sunset Washi tape because I can't resist when things match that perfectly.

Hopscotch Club layout

Here's the February layout using Hopscotch paper. I used the Workshop on the Go stamp set with Smoothie, Flaxen, Sunset and Glacier inks. I also used the Hopscotch Assortment, Flaxen Twine and Printed Cork Circles to embellish the layout. Instead of a zipstrip or paper I used a long strip of Sunset Chevron Washi tape.

Valentines!

Happy Valentine's Day! My girls' club is making an assortment of Valentines this Saturday. We're using the new Heart embossing folder (and maybe some sandpaper), the Year>>>Noted stamp set, Heartstrings Paper, and the sentiment that came with Artfully Sent. We'll also use the M-size sentiment and punch out some hearts for fun. The little dog comes from Cuddly Salutations and is on some old paper I still had laying around.

Get Well Card

This card was made with the Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge. I used Whisper and Lagoon cardstock and a bit of Heartstrings. The glittery Junebug puffies were just the thing for the raindrops and flowers. (though I will say that they did not stick well at all! I had to add glue to all of them.) The flowers on the right are the negative of the sheet on the left. The sparkles were clear and I colored them with a ShinHan marker to make them the same color as the Heartstrings paper. I love doing that!

A Little More Christmas

This is the layout we did at Club using Yuletide Carol. The frames come from the Artfully Sent cartridge and accompanying stamp sets. The holly was stamped with the Sing Glory hostess stamp set. We edged the lighter colored papers with either New England Ivy or Ruby inks. For bling we added gold sequins and red glitter gems. I used some old red glitter gel on the ivy. The banner sentiment was cut with the Artfully Sent cartridge. The little squares are from the My Crush Holiday Happenings Assortment.
The layout idea comes from Cherish- Balanced Blocks.

Artfully Sent

I made this card using the Fabulous new Cricut cartridge, Artfully Sent. (It was a Christmas present!) The Cricut cuts out all the intricate cuts and I just had to stick them together and embellish with some sparkles and Teal Glitter trim tape. I look forward to some show-stopping cards for many occasions to come. :)

National Paper Crafting Month

I made this layout using the National Paper Crafting paper called Noted. It's only available during the month of January. This cute set of 2 B&T, 2 colored cardstock sheets, 2 White Daisy, gold Foil stickers and adorable C-size stamp set are yours for just $5 when you purchase $50 in product. Don't forget that also makes you eligible to purchase the Stamp of the Month for just $5.

Another Snowhaven Layout

When the girls' scrapbook club chose to use the Snowhaven paper I inwardly groaned. I had done a double layout with my ladies and wasn't sure I had another layout in me. But I am pleased with how this turned out. And it gave me a good excuse to use the adorable Polar Bear Holiday stamp set. The snowflakes were made with two Martha Stewart punches. I know, gasp! (not CTMH) but the girls love using punches. I also embellished with some older CTMH buttons and waxy flax. A little Washi tape and you're good to go.
