Watch these helpful videos to get some great tips for creating your own background paper. At our next Club we'll be using some of these techniques so now's your chance to study! ;)
This Blog is dedicated to CTMH paper crafting and my own custom scrapbook business.

I used 2 My Creations blocks to make these Countdown to Christmas blocks. I used Pear and Partridge paper to cover and embellish the 3 inch sides. The numbers come from the Countdown stamp set. Other stamps are from the Card workshop and Christmas Joy stamp sets.
BTW, as of Nov 8 there are 46 days until Christmas!! :)
This moonlight layout was what the Girls Scrapbook Club made on Saturday. We used Harvest Happiness stamps, Smokey Plum, Sweet Leaf, Autumn Terracotta, Goldrush and Honey inks. The Owl was cut on Cricut Artiste. The branch is Art Philosophy. The felt embellishments and buttons came from the craft store.

This box was made with the Cricut Artiste cartridge and decorated with Moonlight B&T and Goldrush cardstock (the sides of the box, which aren't pictured). The leaves were cut out with Art Philosophy and stamped on Goldrush and Sweet Leaf cardstock with coordinating ink. I used Raffia from a craft store for the bow. The Give Thanks sentiment is from A Little Thanks. The leaves were stamped with one of the sets that came with the Art Philosophy cartridge.

This is a 9 inch wreath I created today. I used CTMH cardstock cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge. Goldrush, honey, barn red, cranberry and olive for a few leaves. I also used the Arbor Wooden Shapes. I sponged the wood pieces. The raffia was not CTMH. It's something I've had for so long I don't remember where I got it. This went together in under 2 hours. The leaves are varying sizes between 1.5- 2.5 inches. I covered the styrofoam form in ribbon, hot-gluing it and all the other pieces into place.

This layout is for the Girls Scrapbook Club on Saturday. It uses Scholastic paper and the "School is Here" stamp set. We also used the Constant Campaign set "It's Your Day." And I added the tags from "Vintage Type" and a Milepost Shape. Ink colors are Outdoor Denim, Ruby, Creme Brulee, Cocoa and Cashmere.

These are graduation cards I made for my worship team high school grads. The one on the left is almost an exact copy from the Pemberley page in the Idea Book. I added the AP rose and a Zip strip on Indian Corn Blue card stock.
The middle uses Victory paper on Bamboo cards stock. The tag is cut out with the AP Cricut cartridge. The words are CTMH Rub-on letters. Accents are chocolate ribbon, buttons, waxy flax and Durable Studs. The stars are sponged Dimensional Elements.
The far right card uses Cruisin' paper, Hooray Bouquet, Field Trip Alphabet numbers and the little words are from the Keepsake Alphabet. The bling are the Opaques Gems in Licorice. The hat is an old Stampin' Up one. I added grey Baker's Twine for the tassel. (I got the tassel idea from another consultant but I can't remember her name. Sorry!)
And yes, they are shaped this way because they'll have money in them. :-)

I am thinking of starting a Girls' Scrapbook Club. If you have a girl that is 9 to early teen and likes to scrapbook please contact me. At each meeting we would complete 2 12x12 scrapbook pages for $10. If the girls have interest we can branch out and make Mini-albums or cards too. How often we meet is up to you! No commitment at this point. We'll just give it a try and see if everyone likes it.
I'm open to the possibility of doing separate club for younger girls but would probably need to get their moms involved too. (-: Let me know if you're interested in either of these ideas.

This is the layout we made at Club last week using the Lucy Paper Pack. We used hexagons cut out on the Cricut. The stamped flowers are Hooray Bouquet. We dyed the Seam-binding ribbon using Sweet Leaf ink. Both layout patterns are found in Reflections. Our next Club meeting is June 5th. We'll be using Superhero. If you are interested in joining, please let me know at least a week before we meet.
